Patrick Duvall is a performing composer focused on capturing the versatility of sounds and musical ideas presented throughout the world and in the percussionist’s toolkit. In his own compositions he seeks to bring to life both fantastical and technical ideas through experimentation in both improvised instruments and conventional instruments explored unconventionally. Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on the 26th of November 1995. Patrick was born as a triplet with his brother and sister, shortly thereafter his family moved to Mountain Home Idaho where Patrick grew up. Beginning with 6th grade band, Patrick would practice percussion music and continue on for the rest of his schooling before beginning musical studies at the College of Southern Idaho under Scott Farkas, and then at Southern Oregon University with Terry Longshore where he is currently finishing his bachelor’s degree.
