Lucas Sem

Lucas Sem is a performer-composer percussionist currently based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in percussion performance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Lucas has studied percussion under Alex Wier, Tom Wetzel, and Dean Borghesani. He has written several pieces for solo and ensemble percussion, wind ensemble, orchestra, and electronics. Lucas has performed with the Milwaukee Bucks drumline as well as with River City Rhythm and Shadow Drum and Bugle Corps. He has also been involved with solo and ensemble performances at the PAS Wisconsin Day of Percussion.
